Day 1: Delhi
Arrive Delhi and welcome by our representative.
Transfer to the hotel.
Next program time of arrival and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
This day will be spent visiting the capital of India, composed of two cities: the old city Mughal "Old Delhi" and the modern city "New Delhi".
In the morning, discovery of Old Delhi
Visit the Jama Masjid (mosque closed on Fridays and holidays), the largest mosque in India that can bring in the inner courtyard to 20,000 worshipers. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656. 5000 workers participated in its construction which lasted six years.
Chandni Chowk, the Grand Bazaar with the flower market and the market for jewelery. It includes jewelry in silver, crafts, sweets ... teeming day and night. Rickshaw ride, Rickshaw on 3 wheels in the old town.
Drive past the Red Fort (closed on Mondays) former residence of Mughal Emperors
Visit Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's place of cremation. Raj Ghat, polished marble platform, is the most potent symbol of the nation. This is the place where took place the cremation of the body of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948. On this granite platform registered his last words: "He Ram" (Ôh God !!)

In the afternoon, visit to New Delhi
The tomb of Emperor Humayun, son of Babur and Akbar's father, a building of red sandstone inlaid with white marble which stands in a garden designed by a Persian architect in the sixteenth century. This tomb was the prototype of the Mughal tombs gardens inspired other monuments such as the Taj Mahal. Built in 1565, it houses the tombs of Humayun wives;
The Qutab Minar (XIII century), the highest minaret in the world, built to announce the advent of the sultans, consists of five floors of red sandstone and white marble to a height of 73 meters and as a polygon plan 20 sides.
Then you spend the Gateway of India before arriving at the Presidential Palace and the huge Connaught Place, the commercial heart of New Delhi, with shady arcades and shops, restaurants, cinemas and stalls selling books.

Day 3: Delhi / Jaipur (350 Kms / 5h)
Breakfast.
Morning drive to Jaipur, known as the "Pink City". Capital of Rajputana with Rajas are said to be descendants of Rama, the city of Jaipur was founded in 1728 by the astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II warrior, astronomy enthusiast. The entire city with pink buildings, surrounded by crenellated walls and dominated by hills and forts.

Day 4: Jaipur

The day will be dedicated to the discovery of Jaipur.
Departure for a morning excursion to Amber Fort perched on a hill. Mounted on an elephant (Supplement) or on foot. Amber was the ancient capital of Rajasthan. Founded by the Minas and still flourishing in 967, the fort was captured by the Rajputs in 1037; They kept it until 1728 and then deserted him for the new city of Jaipur. At the entrance of a rocky gorge, near a beautiful lake, picturesque location Amber is highlighted by the beauty of its architecture. We climb the ramparts to visit the magical halls of the palace and a temple dedicated to Kali.
Visit the Temple of Kali. Note: You will be asked to leave all your leather goods goalkeeper to enter this temple.
Stop at the facade of the Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal, stunning architectural fantasy that allowed women of the royal family to contemplate public events without being seen (external visit only).

In the afternoon, visit the old city of Jaipur
The palace of the Maharajah of which is still inhabited by the local Rajah (unauthorized access) and the other a museum containing beautiful old carpets. Museum visit.
At the gates of the palace, stop at Jantar Mantar observatory built in the early 18th century and instruments surprised and admired.
Then you will go for an unusual ride in the colorful bazaar of the old city Cyclo Pousse, Rickshaw on 3 wheels. A time will be devoted to walking tour of the Spice Bazaar.

Day 5: Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra (240 kms)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for Agra and en route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar, whose palace is a fine example of Mughal architecture of the sixteenth century.
Visit the palace and called Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Fatehpur Sikri, a fortified ghost town is located on the road to Jaipur, 38 kms from Agra. On this spectacular site of the Ganges Valley, the magnificent ruins of red sandstone lying in the middle of the plain are the remains of one of Akbar's capitals. He founded in 1569 to express his gratitude for the birth of his son, Selim. The main building is the Great Mosque, probably the most wonderful of India. The Palace of Jodha Bai, Rajput wife of Akbar, a courtyard surrounded by a gallery topped buildings and covered with glazed blue roof. Private apartments Akbar and exquisite palaces of the Turkish Sultana are in another court. The Panch Mahal, or palace Five Floors, includes the audience hall. In 1583, the English came to meet the Emperor Akbar and were dazzled by the riches exhibited before their eyes. Ten years later, the Emperor Akbar and his court had to return to AGRA following a water shortage and the city was deserted gradually.

Continue to Agra, full of the finest Mughal architectures of the 17th century Red Fort and the Taj Mahal.
Arrival in the late afternoon and transfer to hotel.

Day 6: Agra / Delhi (200 Km - About 4:30)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Early morning transfer to board the "Tonga" Indian custom carriages (4 people in Tonga) for the discovery of the Taj Mahal, unforgettable white marble mausoleum. The visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise you can admire the site under special lighting. Supreme work of Muslim art, this mausoleum was built (1631-1653) near Agra by Shah Jahan for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is based at his side. The exterior is decorated with arabesques and texts from the Koran, inlaid with precious stones. The tomb itself, while pure white marble, consists of an octagonal building with a square terrace, with a dome 26 meters high. On this vast marble terrace totaled four elegant minarets. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Friday
After this moving visit, return to the hotel for breakfast.
In leaving for Delhi, visit the Red Fort, the former residence of Mughal Emperors. In 1565, Akbar began building the Red Fort with its high walls of red sandstone: inside the south rises the Jahangir Mahal or Palace of Jahangir, built by Akbar; north, the Pearl Mosque, built by Shah Jahan. The "Khas Mahal 'which forms three pavilions, one discovers a beautiful view on the Yamuna and the Taj Mahal.
Early in the afternoon, drive to Delhi. Lunch on the way.
Arrive late afternoon in Delhi and transfer to hotel. Dinner.
Day 7: Delhi - International Airport
